    Description

    I purchased this cut glass pictorial plate, with a group of items, from an 1900’s barber shop. This pie plate? Is 12” in diameter, and 1 1/4” tall. Depiction of family stuck on the railroad tracks in a donkey cart. Engine no.12 is coming around the bend. The driver of the cart and his wife, are trying to persuade the donkey, with their parasols. There is also many other details of trees, and house, and plants, etched and cut into this fabulous work of art. I have had this for some time now. I could not figure out, how I should list it. I cannot find anything even close to comparable. If someone out there has seen one similar, I would love to here about this. There is a scratch, on the front flat area across the donkey.
