9th Plate Ruby Ambrotype of Armed Soldier possibly Vermont Military School

9th  Plate ruby ambrotype of New England militiaman with musket and bayonet. Full standing view.  Very clear with only a small splattering of tiny  blemishes (there are some camera reflections in the photo not in the actual image).  Full leatherette case in nice condition.  The uniform is  gray and believe this is a Vermont soldier from the Norwich College Military  School.  Early war.  Just a lovely image of this young cadet
