ANTIQUE CHINESE PLATES -RARE RED ENAMELED DISH PAIR -FRESH ESTATE FIND

Description

Offering a pair of unusual Chinese red enameled copper dishes.
These have an attractive and most unusual “cracking” pattern.
They measure 5-1/4” W (13.335cm).
Condition...
Both show surface wear from use, some scuffs and scratches but nothing major. One with some surface oxidation areas to red.
One has old shop tag from the famed FONG INN Chinese Antiques Shop in Honolulu Hawaii. Shop was in business from 1915-1950. This is fantastic provenance to have, as Mr. Inn helped to supply some important collections and museums during his years in business. (We have a few other items from this same collection listed now!)
Stands not included.
Have not found any comparable pieces! They could be incredibly rare! Auction determines final value. Good luck my friends!
