Description

Wonderful antique lithograph metal tin marked PATTERSON'S TUXEDO TOBACCO ~ SPECIALLY PREPARED FOR PIPE & CIGARETTE. Shape is curved for insertion in a pocket - lift-up lid is hinged, tin bears an elegant man in tails smoking a pipe on one side and still retains small amount of tax label.
Condition is good with overall rubbing and wear to the exterior, patination to the lid, darkening and chipping to the tax label and age-related usage wear - colors are still bold in areas.
