    Original CDV Photo of Civil War Union General George McClellan photographed by Frederick Gutekunst, Philadelphia.  Gutekunst stamp on back and partially (or complete?) front.  Gutekunst was the top or one of the top photographers during 1800's into 1900's.  This CDV was part of vintage album including many CDVs of Union Army Generals (some signed), Abraham Lincoln, members of Lincoln's cabinet, Robert E. Lee (signed), politicians and a few notable writers and abolitionists during CW.  The album was not salvageable but thankfully the photos were.  Measures approx. 2.5 x 3.75".  Condition is good some light foxing front and back.  This will ship fast and FREE within protective sleeve.  Please contact us any questions we try our best and follow our store we focus on rare and unique.
