This is an original CIVIL WAR Photo card of the horrors of ANDERSONVILLE PRISON. It measeures 3.5" x 2.5" and comes in a hard plastic sleeve. The Photograph was taken by Morse & Peaslee who were US Army photographers. Department Cumberland. They took hundreds of Civil War photos, non more real than this one. It is a gruesome shot of a Union soldier POV Starved nearly to death. The horrors of Andersonville come to life in this photo. What a cool peice to add to any Civil War collection.
