It is not too early to think about the holidays ahead, as this EXQUISITE antique doll accessory would be perfect on your large antique German or French doll for the upcoming season-----it is just STUNNING!
Although it is hard to capture with the digital camera the AMAZING DETAIL of this wonderful antique coat, it is an ELABORATE EXAMPLE of Victoriana, made of lightweight winter white colored wool with gorgeous white SOUTACHE TRIM around the collar, cuffs, and down the front!  The coat has large white buttons that are hidden when buttoned down the front, and the white BRAIDED TRIM is a nice finishing touch around the collar and cuffs!  In overall EXCELLENT CONDITION with a couple of very discreet small holes on the back and some minor age staining on its original off-white interior FABRIC LINING, with a little bit of touch-up ironing you will find this beautiful coat DISPLAY READY for your favorite large antique doll!
The coat measures approximately 19" long from the top of its collar to the bottom of its hem, 17 1/2" long from the top of its shoulder, with a 12" neck circumference, 10" across the back between the shoulders, and has sleeves that are 10" long with a 9" circumference around the cuff and 12" around the top, a 31/2" shoulder seam, and an ample 14" across the waist!
