This is a metal tin with plastic cover tobacco tin for
George Washington American Pipe Tobacco
Made by R. J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC)
Size: 5" tall, 5 1/4" diameter
Era: 1970s...this may be an historic tin as the tobacco was discontinued in 1974 or early 1975 and the first UPC used was in 1974, so I believe this tin is from 1974 and probably a very early product using the UPC bar code and most pipe tobacco also started being packed in bags soon afterwards
Item is USED, but in VERY GOOD condition...each has some minor wear, but overall very clean...have 4, first two are slightly better than second two and first two contain paper ad on bottom...will sell best ones first...all 4 are pictured in the photo section
