    Description

White metal hollow cast 3" high statues of two of the seven Gods of good fortune.  After casting
    they
    were
filled with a weighting material and treated to give them a patina, which in ware spots
    shows bronze
color underneath.  The two figures are Ebisu and Daikoku.  Ebisu is the God of
    good luck for
fishermen, businessmen in general and prosperity.  He is depicted here holding
    a fish under his left
arm, wearing his pointed cap, with a big smile.  Daikoku is the God of wealth
    and guardian of cooks,
farmers, and bankers.  He is also considered a demon hunter.
