    Description

    Fresh from an estate is an original Aldo Scabbia charcoal drawing on paper of an African youth. Signed and dated. Scabbia is a listed artist who lived and worked in Africa for several years. The drawing is in a period wooden frame, but the frame is missing the glass. The frame is 29" high by 23" wide. Drawing condition: there is some discoloration at lower and left and right, and the drawing does not lay perfectly flat (the result of the missing glass in the frame), all of which can be seen in the photos. The drawing *has not* been removed from the frame, so the only inspection has been with the drawing in the frame.
    Frame condition: excepting the missing glass, the frame is in good condition, with some notches in the upper right corner, also shown in the photos.
    A nice original drawing from a listed artist whose work is gaining more attention.  Happy to take additional photos if needed -- please ask.
    The drawing will be very carefully packaged for shipping -- secured with two layers of heavy stock cardboard and then a final exterior layer.  Please see my feedback to learn how happy my clients are with the care in which their items are packed.
