Customizable
How do you want to start your vehicle? Want to use a toggle switch and a button? No problem. Want just a single button? That's cool too. There are multiple ways to set it up and you get to choose the way that you like best.
Convenient
When using the Auto-Crank feature, a brief press of the start button is all it takes to start the engine. After pressing the start button, Auto-Crank continuously reads the engine's speed and will automatically stop cranking once the engine has started.
Safe
The PBS-100 was designed with safety in mind. If you can't stop your vehicle or the accelerator gets stuck, you will still be able to shut down your vehicle. There are two alternate ways to shut down the vehicle in case of emergencies. Either a press-and-hold lasting one second or three quick presses will immediately shut down the vehicle - keeping you in total control.
Auto-Crank
One-Touch Starting With Auto-Crank
The Auto-Crank feature allows you to start the vehicle with a tap of the start button. When using Auto-Crank, there is no need to hold the button to crank the starter motor. Press and release the button and the PBS-100 will do the rest. When Auto-Crank is used, the PBS-100 will sense when the RPMs have reached the previously learned idle RPM value and will then stop the starter motor from cranking the engine.

Dim Feature
Reduce LED Brightness for Night Driving
The LED Dim feature provides a convenient way to dim the start button's LED at night. During the day, the LED looks cool. At night, the brightness can be distracting and cause glare. The solution is to dim the LED when the vehicle's headlights are turned on.
Retained Accessory Power
Keep the Accessories Running
Once the vehicle is turned off, the Retained Accessory Power feature gives you the option to keep the Radio (and anything else powered by the ACC circuit) powered until the door is opened. The ACC circuit will stay on for up to 10 minutes before turning off to conserve battery power.
Enable
Your Vehicle Will Only Start for Those That You Choose
To ensure that the vehicle can only be started by an authorized person, the PBS-100 can be enabled and disabled. The Enable Input should be connected to a switch, relay, security system or other mechanism that can be used to determine when the PBS-100 should be enabled or disabled. Both a momentary and toggle setup will work.
INSTALLATION
Installation is a breeze. Many of the installation steps required to install a remote starter are shared by the PBS-100. This means that any auto shop that installs remote starters should have no problems with installation. There are no special tools required and the setup procedure is easier than many remote starters.
