    RARE~JESTER HAIRSTON SPIRITUAL SLAVE SONG FESTIVAL POSTER~UNIVERSITY OF OREGON. Poster from my personal collection for the Jester Hairston Festival of 1000 Voices. The poster measures 14” W x 22” & is hand printed on poster board. The concert would have been held in Eugene Oregon at U of O’s McArthur Court either April 1, 1960 or April 1, 1967. We were not able to confirm which date he conducted these choirs. Very nice poster with a bit of staining from having been displayed on the front upper edge & the same discoloration on the reverse. See photos for details. Hard to come by offering for the beloved goodwill ambassador, actor, musical conductor + arranger, anti slavery & civil rights contributor, spiritual song preserver.
