    Description

    This scarce 1920s "Big Ben" litho hinged "specimen" pocket tobacco tin, measruing 7/8" x 2 7/8" x 4 1/2", is in good condition with one small crease, one small rust spot and some very minor age related paint scratches and chips.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  There is a striker on the bottom.  There are large tax fragments.  This striking bright orange tin features an image of a brown stallion standing in a field.  The tobacco was manufactured by Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company, Louisville, KY in Factory 21, District, KY.  Specimen tins were used as show pieces by salesmen.
