Beautiful hard-cover sales brochure for the Lister Knobbly Stirling Moss edition, signed by Sir Stirling Moss, as shown in the photo. The car is an exact continuation of the super-lightweight Knobbly that Stirling Moss drove to victory at Silverstone in 1958. SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS BELOW.
The new Knobbly is powered by a 3.8 litre original specification racing engine, each one professionally built around an original period Jaguar engine block and producing 350 bhp at 4,950 rpm. This is linked to an original specification four-speed gearbox, manufactured for Lister by renowned engineers, Crosthwaite and Gardiner. Only ten of these lightweight, road- and track-ready cars will be produced.
32 pages of fabulous vintage and new photography, history, background on the new project, and specs. Sir Stirling signed this at the car's unveiling at the 2016 Pebble Beach Concours Classic Car Forum.
