Description:
A Sapphire Blue TR6 is the centerpiece- the focus- of this painting. Note that it is an early TR6, in fact it is a 1972, witnessed by the black hub wheel covers & the black spokes on the steering wheel. The passenger side window glass is rolled up. The right side of the TR reflects the adjacent red TR6 .
Groups of on-lookers walk about, one on a bicycle, checking it out. The little girls are happy being with their parents- getting into the 'joie de vivre', pointing out things while Dad sips a coffee and the pretty Mom smiles about her situation.
In the sky are hot-air balloons; a reflecting pool down below; yellow, red & green TR6's across the parking lot; a TR250 with wire wheels & a silver bonnet stripe- the owner leaning over the wing/fender of the engine bay; a BRG TR4A rear portion is continued in the left foreground with its front half; the red TR6 showing tail-light assembly, properly blacked-out rear tail section, nice chrome bumper & stock exhaust tips.
The horizon-background hints at a large campus with modern brick buildings and summer time with trees full of leaves.
