Very dark civil war tintype of young soldier with very unusual weapon armed case

Fully cased sixth plate tintype of a young civil war Union soldier with a half-stock hunting rifle (what someone told me it was)....image is very dark, but the weapon makes it very rare.  If you aren't worried about condition, this one's for you.
